  • Where do we go to check-in / pick up keys when we arrive?

When you arrive in Port O’Connor you’ll come to our office to check-in and get your keys.

Our office is located at 2244 W. Adams Ave on the left (north) side of Adams Ave.

As you enter Port O’Connor you’ll drive ½ mile past Byer St. (look for Cathy’s Restaurant and Marty’s Landing Tackle at intersection of Adams Ave/Byer Road) and look for us on the left. If you’ve reached the Speedy Stop Convenience Store and Gas Station on 16th Street or end up at the beach you’ve gone too far. A quick turnaround will get you back on track – just look for us on the right this time. 😊

If you’re still having trouble – feel free to contact our cell phone at 361-920-2005.

  • What time can we check in?

Standard check-in time is 3:00pm. Early check-in time is 12:00pm. (If we have people check out early, or the units are not booked the night before you arrive, we do allow early check in at 12:00pm.)

We request that you call ahead to verify your check-in time. We cannot allow you to enter units while they are being cleaned. If you would like to drop off your supplies and go fishing, please let us know and we’d be happy to arrange that for you.

We can also accommodate late check-in times, just include your request upon booking.

  • What time is check out?

Unless notified otherwise, check-out time is 12:00pm. We generally can accommodate a late check-out time if the rental is not booked for the following day, however, please make any requests with our staff and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

  • What if I’m hitting the fish but my check-out time is approaching?

If you are out fishing, and get "in the fish", and don’t want to come back in to dock, please call us at 361-983-4371. Sometimes we can arrange late check-out, or perhaps make a change in our cleaning schedule.

  • What if I need to cancel my booking?

We understand things happen. While we do have a cancellation policy in place, if you must cancel your trip for unforeseen reasons, please email info@pocrentals.com as soon as possible. Often there are other fishermen or guests who would be interested in picking up your rental. If we can re-book your rental unit, we will refund your deposit. So, please let us know as soon as possible so we can help each other, and maybe even another fisherman.

Push it forward policy - in certain circumstances, you may choose to use your booking as a credit toward a future reservation. Just send us an email to confirm this is an option for you. When you're ready to book your next trip, give us call to make your reservation.

  • Are there any cleaning fees?

A maid service fee is charged for each rental unit. This fee is noted in the description of each unit and will be added to your total at checkout. Additional fees will be added for any excessive damage to the unit.
