Got questions about your stay in Port O’Connor? We have answers! From check-in and check-out times to pet and cancellation policies, get the scoop on everything you need to know to plan a seamless trip with POC Rentals.
Preparing for Your Stay
Since access to grocery stores is limited in Port O’Connor, we recommend stopping at a grocery store on the way into town and bringing your own food and drinks. Please also bring personal toiletries and beach towels. If you’re planning on boating, bring your own towels to clean the boat — leave our towels in the rental units, please.
Each condo or home comes stocked with linens and paper products (including toilet paper and paper towels), as well as soap in the kitchen and bathrooms. Kitchens come stocked with basic cooking supplies, a coffee maker, kitchen utensils, and drinkware. If you will need specialty cooking equipment, please bring it with you.
If these key amenities are not provided upon your arrival, please notify us during office hours immediately so we can assist you.
Check-In & Check-Out
When you arrive in Port O’Connor, please come to our office located at 36 Cemetery St. to check in and pick up your keys. As you drive into town, our office is located exactly a half mile past First National Bank on the left. Pass Cemetery St. and take the immediate driveway on the left.

Standard check-in is at 4 PM, and early check-in is at 12 PM. Please call ahead to verify check-in times. We cannot guarantee early check-in, which is dependent on cleaning schedules, but we can usually accommodate late check-ins — just include your request upon booking.
If you arrive in Port O’Connor before the agreed-upon time and would like to drop off your luggage and supplies and head out on the water until check-in, please let us know, and we would be happy to arrange a luggage drop-off service.
Standard check-out is at 12 PM. While we cannot guarantee a late check-out time, we can often accommodate late check-out if your rental is not booked for the following day. If you’d like to request a later check-out time, please give us a call at least 24 hours prior.
If you’re out fishing and don’t think you’ll make it back in time for check-out, please give our team a call at (361) 759-4371, and we will try our best to accommodate a later check-out time.
Policies
We understand that unexpected circumstances may require you to cancel or postpone your trip to Port O’Connor. While we do have a cancellation policy in place, we have a couple of alternative options for cancelling or postponing your trip with POC Rentals.
If you need to cancel your reservation, please email us at info@pocrentals.com as soon as possible. If we can find another guest to fill your reservation, we will refund your deposit, so the sooner you let us know — the better! If you need to postpone your trip, we can often offer a credit toward a future reservation. Just send us an email to ask if this is something we can arrange, and if so, give us a call when you’re ready to reschedule your trip and make your reservation.
Yes, we charge a cleaning service fee for each rental property. This fee will be added to your itemized total at checkout. Additional cleaning fees may be charged for excessive damage to the unit.
